GOFL Week 8
Week 8 is "doubleheader" week in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League - the umps will be happy!
Monday night (tonight) sees Orleans visit Greely to face the Eagles at 8:30PM.
Tuesday night is a rare 7pm / 9pm doubleheader in Fitzroy Harbour. Quyon will face Manotick (Printer's home game) in the first match up, a rain out make up from earlier in the season, followed by West Carleton Electric hosting Manotick Lomor Printers in their first meeting this season. The bar will be open in the hall afterward and we anticipate good business with these two teams in town!
Wednesday night West Carleton Electric travels to the Grove in Stittsville to see Team Easton at 8:30PM.
Stittsville 56ers visit Manotick on Wednesday night for a double bill. First game is at 7pm against the Ottawa Blitz, followed by a 9pm tilt against the Printers.
Thursday will see another doubleheader on the schedule, this time in Carp, as Orleans will face Team Easton in the 7pm start to make up for a rain out from Week 1, while I4C Victory hosts the Blitz in the second game scheduled for 9pm.
A lot of games this week - let's hope for good or at least playable weather!
