Smiths Falls Jr Redmen back for 2009

The Smiths Falls Redmen Juniors are operating again this year with a very young team. The team will be made up of a group of players who have recently graduated from the local minor ball system and will be 19 and 20 year olds. The team will be coached by Bob Mulrooney and Greg Purcell, both former Redmen players. The team will compete in both the Eliminations and Provincial OASA tournaments. It is hoped that this youth movement will lead to having the group together for three or four years.
Smiths Falls will be playing in the North Leeds League with Greenbush, Lyn and Newboro.
