Kars 6-4 over Stittsville - WITH DETAILS

Kars score 5 runs in the second and held on for a 6-4 win Wednesday night at the Grove in Stittsville.
Cory Alkerton picked up the win while Darren Featherstone took the loss with relief from Dan Bradley.
Stittsville jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of 1 but Kars answered with 5 of their own in the second.
Cory Morrison walked took second on a passed ball then scored on a Curtis Summer's Rbi single. Cory Alkerton and Kevin Chevrier follwed up with singles of their own with Chevrier's scoring Summers. Kristan Knapp walked, Brad Pender hit into a FC to score Alkerton then Dave Tubman singled to score Chevrier and Pender.
Stittsville cut the lead to 1 in the 5th as Johhny Craig's single scored both Darren Ladoceur and Scott Harriot.
Kars would answer back in the 6th as Brad Pender singled, stole second, then scored on Dave Tubman's single. Corey Alkerton then struck out the side in the 7th to end the game.
