The Gee-Gees women's fastball team beat Wilfrid Laurier 3-2 in extra innings to take the top seed and advance to the semi-final. Jean Cardona picked up the win and Andrea Nelson drove in the winning run in the 8th inning. The team is back in action Sunday at 1pm against the winner of Toronto and Wilfrid Laurier.
