GOFL results Wednesday night
Various reports from Wednesday night GOFL play in Manotick indicate that:
In the first game, the Ottawa Blitz beat the Kars Aces 10-2 in five innings. Jamie Blakely earned the win while Cory Alkerton took the loss. Anil Hayne and Jeremy Regan had home runs for the Blitz.,
The second game saw the Aces tie the Barrhaven Broadway Blues 4-4 (corrected score). Paul Ceppi threw six innings for the Blues and Trevor Lahey saw an inning in relief. Brad Porter threw for Kars. Chad Hargrove had a homer for the Blues.
Standings for the GOFL as of August 1st:
Carp 10-6-1 = 21 pts
Kars 9-4-1 = 19 pts
Quyon 8-6-1 = 17 pts
Barrhaven 7-7-2 = 16 pts
Ottawa Blitz 6-9-2 = 14 pts
Fitzroy Harbour 6-10-1 = 13 pts
Stittsville 5-9-2 = 12 pts
