Algonquin College in Pembroke presents Jonah Keri of ESPN’s Baseball Tonight

from Jamie Bramburger

Join ESPN’s Baseball Tonight analyst and one of North America’s leading baseball writers, Jonah Keri, as he tells the story of the Montreal Expos’ turbulent 35 year existence.

Keri, who grew up in Montreal and studied journalism at Concordia University, is a New York Times best-selling author. His new book about the Expos covers everything from the early years at Jarry Park to the crushing loss to the Dodgers on “Blue Monday”, and the catastrophic players’ strike in 1994. He currently lives in Denver and is only visiting two other Canadian cities on his book tour - Montreal and Toronto.

Monday, April 6 at 7 pm
Knights of Columbus Hall - Pembroke, ON

Copies of his book “UP, UP, & AWAY” will be available for purchase following the presentation. Tickets available at Algonquin College’s Waterfront Campus. $15 or $20 at the door.
