GOFL "Championship Round" teams set
The Greater Ottawa Fastball League "Championship Round" now has the four teams confirmed:
I4C Victory decided to withdraw from their playoff series with the Kars Aces due to player injuries preventing them from fielding a team.
The format for the Championship Round is a double knockout event, stretched out over a couple of weeks. Games will be as follows.
1. Kars Aces at Quyon Flyers, Tuesday August 30 at 8 pm in Quyon
2. West Carleton Electric at Micksburg Twins, date TBD in Micksburg
3. Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 2
4. Loser of Game 1 vs Loser of Game 2 (loser eliminated)
5. Loser of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4 (loser eliminated)
6. FINAL: Winner of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 5
7. If necessary game, if first loss by undefeated team in Game 6
- Micksburg Twins
- Quyon Flyers
- Kars Aces
- West Carleton Electric
