GOFL Wednesday night wrap up

Greater Ottawa Fastball League Wednesday night wrap up:

Kars Aces 7 Stittsville 56ers 3
Kars defeated Stittsville 7-3 in a game at the Grove on Wednesday night. Cory Alkerton had the win with relief from Brad Porter. Adam Smith took the loss and Kyle Olson threw shut out ball in relief. Matt Alkerton had two large home runs for the Aces while Aaron Amo had a homer for Stittsville.

Quyon Flyers 4 I4C Victory 2
In the first game of the Manotick doubleheader, the Quyon Flyers prevailed 4-2 over I4C Victory. Chris MacFarlane and Matt McNish both had solo homers for Victory while Nick Armitage had a two RBI single and Shawn Laframboise had a sole shot for Quyon. Trevor Lahey had the pitching win for Quyon an Neil Cooke took the loss.

I4C Victory 6 Ottawa Valley As 5
In the nightcap, I4C Victory got some revenge on the Ottawa Valley As after losing both games in a doubleheader this past weekend by squeaking out a 6-5 with a walk off in the bottom of the seventh. Matt McNish had the pitching win while Ben Broek took the loss.
