Valley As win game one in Quyon

The Ottawa Valley As won game one of the best-of-three Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoff series by a score of 4-2 over the Quyon Flyers on Thursday night.

Adam Rueckwald was the winning pitcher, while Trevor Lahey took the loss and had relief from Drew Hathway. Ben Wade had a two run homer for the Valley As and Steve Frost had a solo shot for the visitors.

Next game is Wednesday in Carp at 8 pm.
