Twins win Shawville League
The Twins won the Shawville League playoffs with a 2-1 victory over the Royals on Friday night in front of a good crowd.
Matt Greer was the winning pitcher while veteran lefty Lenny Burger threw well but took the loss.
Darron Bruce went 2 for 3 for the Twins, driving in both runs. Dave Hobbs went 2 for 2 with a walk and James O'Brien was 1 for 3 with an RBI for the Royals.
The Shawville League is a four team recreation men's fastpitch league that plays at the Shawville, QC RA diamond.
