As win on Thursday, game 2 rained out

The Ottawa Valley As won their first Greater Ottawa Fastball League game of the season on Thursday night with a 9-4 victory over Orleans Rebels in Carp.

Adam Rueckwald earned the win on the slab. Andy Barber, who hit a home run, took the loss and had pitching relief from his brother Jeff.

The second game of the night between West Carleton Electric and Micksburg Twins got started but was halted before the first inning could be completed due to rain, and was eventually declared a rain out.
