Aces and Rebels win on Wednesday

The Wednesday night doubleheader in Manotick saw wins by Kars and Orleans.

The early game was Orleans Rebels 8-0 over the Manotick Brewers. Andy Barber was the winning pitcher. Luc D'Entremont started for Manotick but gave way to Ty Alexander after being hit by a line drive. 

The late match up had the Kars Aces winning 12-1 over West Carleton Electric. Brad Porter threw a two hitter and struck out 13. Brad Pender was 3 for 4 and launched two homers for Kars. Nick Ellis, Cory Morrison, Matt Alkerton, and Kurtis Summers all had two hits for the Aces.

Cory Baldwin took the loss and had relief from Steve Cavanagh. Neil Murphy and Owen Brown had infield hits for WC.
