GOFL to have eight teams in 2022

The Greater Ottawa Fastball League is poised to have eight teams in 2022.

Six teams are returning from the 2021 campaign: West Carleton Electric, Ottawa Valley As, Micksburg Twins, Kars Aces, Manotick Brewers and Orleans Rebels. Returning from a year off are the Quyon Flyers. New to the league are the Osgoode U23 Chiefs, host team at the Softball Canada U23 Nationals in Carp in August.

The plan is for two divisions, with an unbalanced schedule.

East Division:
Orleans Rebels (home games at Pierre Rocque Park in Orleans)
Manotick Brewers (home games at Manotick Arena)
Kars Aces (home games at Manotick Arena)
Osgoode Chiefs (home games at Osgoode Arena & Manotick Arena)

West Division:
Micksburg Twins (home games at Micksburg Ball Field)
Ottawa Valley As (home games at Carp Fairgrounds)
West Carleton Electric (home games at Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre)
Quyon Flyers (home games at Shawville Recreation Association)
