GOFL Week 8

Week 8 of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League will feature six games.

Wednesday night there are three games in Manotick. At 7 p.m. on the main diamond, the Kars Aces (4-3) host the Quyon Flyers (3-3). Following that, the Flyers will play the Orleans Rebels (5-3) at the Arena diamond at 9 p.m. At the main diamond at 9 p.m., the Ottawa Valley As (2-5-2) will play the Aces.

On Thursday there is a doubleheader in Carp, with the Valley As hosting the Aces at 7 p.m. and the Manotick Brewers (5-3) at 9 p.m.

In Shawville on Thursday, West Carleton Electric (1-4-2) will face the Flyers at 7:30 p.m.

The Micksburg Twins (5-2) were scheduled to play that night as well in Shawville, but that game will be postponed as the Cheneaux Bridge at Portage-du-Fort crossing the Ottawa River is out of service from 8 p.m. that night until 5 a.m. the next day.

The Osgoode Chiefs (3-5) also have the week off as they prepare for the U23 Elimnation tournament in Woodstock this upcoming weekend.
