Harbour Ball Finals tied at one game apiece

The Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League best-of-three playoff final series is now tied at one game each following a 13-10 victory by Bren Electric over Baird Carpentry last night. Adam Rueckwald and Mitch Taylor pitched for Bren while Rory Burns and Ryland Hill threw for Baird.

Ryan Conners had six RBIs for Bren, including a three run homer. John Sullivan had four RBIs for Baird.

Immediately following game two, the third and final deciding game was started. It was halted when lightning started getting close to the diamond, just before a downpour of hard rain and hail. At the time the game was suspended, Bren was leading by a score of 13-10, the same score the previous game ended at; however, this game was only in the bottom of the third.

In game three (so far), Rueckwald and Conners hit homers for the Electricians, while sponsor Dave Baird hit one out for the Carpenters.

The date for the continuation of game three is being determined.
