Subsequently game two of the series was played immediately after with Bren winning it 22-12 to advance to the semi-finals. Mark Wright and Steve Cavanagh threw for the Electricians while John Sullivan threw for Baird.
The other early game was a very well-played match, with Hicks Custom Interiors (#5) defeating Ottawa Valley Coffee (#4) 4-2 to take the series two straight. Adam Rueckwald threw for Hicks, while Sean Ryan and Cole Ross pitched for OVC.
The late games saw West Carleton U17 Rona (#1) defeat Campbell Fuels (#8) 7-1 to sweep their series and move to the semis.
The other late game had Clean Cut Construction (#7) stay alive in their series against Grandor Farms (#2) with a 12-8 win. Dave Bahm and Johnny Coe pitched for CCC while Gabe Brown and Owen Brown threw for Grandor.
