QC and ON to meet in CSG semi

Team Ontario and Team Québec will meet in the first vs second game at Canada Summer Games in St. John's, NL on Saturday at 11 a.m. local time (9:30 a.m. Eastern).

Québec went undefeated in pool play with eight straight wins. They beat Alberta 18-1, New Brunswick 6-2, and B.C. 8-1 on Friday.

Ontario also won three on Friday - 8-1 over Saskatchewan, 16-0 over Manitoba and 15-0 over B.C. Their only loss in pool play was Thursday against Québec, finishing with seven wins and a loss.

The winner of the Saturday at 11 a.m. game will advance to Sunday's gold medal game at 11 a.m. local time.

The loser of ON vs QC will play the winner of #3 Nova Scotia vs #4 Saskatchewan at 4 p.m. Saturday. The loser of that game gets bronze and the winner advances to the gold medal game.
