Sting wins Glen championship

Sting Electric won the Glen Cairn Men's Fastball League playoff final on Tuesday night at the Grove in Stittsville sweeping D. King Drywall Storm two games straight.

The final game was a 6-4 win, with Kyle Olson and Darren Featherstone chucking for the Sting. Matt McKay went the distance for the Storm.

The six-team Glen had a bit of a nomadic existence in 2025 as the AY Jackson Secondary School diamond at which the league had played for decades became inaccessible in late June. The league played games at various diamonds afterwards in Kanata, Carp and Stittsville.

Back: Ed Lamont, Kyle Olson, Craig Pavia, Phil Brunet, Brennan Burnett, Adam Noffke
Front: Triston Brown, Scott Muir, Vik Iggy, Will Dunk, Darren Featherstone, Tyson Bissonnette
