Steege named top forward in NHPL - Capital branch
Jared Steege, who was named an All-Canadian infielder for the Micksburg Twins at the Softball Canada Men's Canadian Championship in Kitchener in 2025 has been recognized for his ability in another sport.
The Northern Premier Hockey League named Steege the Top Forward in the Capital branch of the league. As per the NPHL website, "Steegeās speed and finishing ability made him one of the most impactful forwards across the division." He plays for the Madawaska Valley Wolves whose home games in Barry's Bay. The Wolves lost in playoffs to the eventual champions, the Manotick Mariners.
