ISC Qualifier in Mitchell - Sunday

The playoff schedule has been posted for Sunday at the International Softball Congress Qualifier Tournament in Mitchell, ON.

All teams in the six team White Division advance which features top ranked ISC teams Hill United, Gremlins, Bear Creek, JDT Energy, NE Drillers and Toronto Batmen.

Only six of twelve in the Red Division advance.

Waterdown Hammer earned first seed. GOFLer Joe Mick is catching for the Hammer. Kingston Axemen also advanced - several GOFLers are on Kingston's roster including Joran Graham, Andy Barber, Conner Hopper, Colton Lecuyer, Bryce Rebertz, Kristian Knapp and Nick Ellis.

For the Legends 50+, there were quarter-final games on Saturday evening and four teams remain. Waterdown Hammer Legends play defending ISC champions Cobourg Force. Hammer Legends this weekend include Trevor Barton and Adam Brown of GOFL's West Carleton Electric. 

Facebook said this blogger was 3 for 4 with a homer in the Waterdown vs Tavistock Legends game on Saturday morning. That was only partially true - the correct stat line was 3 for 4 with a double.
