Costello leades Micksburg in Game 1 of Regional Finals

Micksburg won game one of the Regional Finals by a score of 4-0 over Team Easton in Stittsville. The game was played under beautiful conditions in front of a decent crowd, which included several members of the Ottawa U GeeGees Women’s Fastball team. Corey Costello was the winning pitcher throwing a no hitter, facing only 22 batters. The only Easton runner, Kevin Chevrier, reached on an error in the fourth. Costello also drove in two runs, including a solo HR. Dan Konkle took the loss, but only allowed five hits. Full details available here.
