Lomor defeats I4C in the Carp home opener

Carp fell 7-4 to Manotick Lomor Printers in its first home game of the year at the Fairgrounds in Carp.

Neil Cooke took the loss but pitched a strong game for the Victory. Cooke gave up seven runs (five earned) on 10 hits while striking out 11 and walking none. Carp made one error that lead to two Manotick runs in the third inning.

Kevin McGuire had a home run for Carp.

Tony Riches pitched for Manotick giving up four runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and no walks. There was one Manotick error.
