Quyon loses to BC at Natties

According to the Jr Nationals site http://www.juniorhommes2006.ca/ it appears that Quyon lost their second game 10-3 to #3 seed Victoria Jrs from B.C. to fall to 0-2.

It's hard to tell from the stats site, but it looks like Ryan Cox pitched this one. Steve McCord went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI, Shawn Laframboise had a triple and an RBI, and Ben Younge had the other RBI.

Victoria scored 7 in the first inning and had 12 hits in the game, making one error. Quyon had four hits and drew five walks and played error free ball.

Things don't get easier for the Flyers as they play the host St-Leonard Express then the defending champs, Scarborough Wolverines on Tuesday.

As a fan of the Quyon boys, I'd just like to thank you for posting updates on the Flyers games at the Canadian Junior Championships. I've been trying to access the official site and having difficulties, so it's nice to keep up with their games on here. Here's hoping they can overcome a bad first day and get on track against some big opponents today! GO FLYERS!

You're right, the site does seem to be working better today. I guess they did fix the problem. However, keep the updates coming, 'cause I can't understand much of the official scoresheets! Thanks!! :o)

yeah, I see they switched from a Micro$oft IIS server to an Apache web server. Still a crappy site for 2006.
