Invites to the ToC
According to http://www.ghfl.ca/forum there have been three more invites go out for the Tournament of Champions in August. No official word on who they are, but FitzroyFastball has learned that there are local teams involved...
Word is also that Donnaconna Blue Sox have had to now decline their invitation.
"Donnacona is unable to accept their berth. Elora Wellington Brewers have accepted an invite and the Niagara Snappers berth from the Travel League is now confirmed. The ToC currently stands at 31 teams. Invites were issued to another three teams this morning."

The Blackburn Bombers, despite only a 1-2 record at the qualifier, have been offered and accepted an invite to this year's ToC.
I've also heard that Valley was offered a berth and will likely be accepting as well.
I believe the other team offered an invite was Enterprise.

Might as well make it a cash tournament and let teams pay an entry fee to get in, because it seems rediculous all of these teams that did nothing getting invites to the World Championships. I don't want to take anything away from these teams that are getting these invites, but is the credibility of this tournament not beginning to seem questionable??????
