Orleans beats Manotick Lomor Printers 4-2

The Gators got the 4-2 win at home on Thursday night over Manotick Lomor Printers.
Chad Hargrove got the win with 13 strikeouts and gave up 3 hits. Trevor Lahey took the loss with 8 strikeouts.
Orleans scored first in the 2nd inning when Brendan Werthner lead off with a triple. Nick Bowman cashed him on fielder's choice. Chad Hargrove had a solo home run the 3rd to give Orleans a 2-0 lead.
Mike Branchaud replied for Manotick with a solo shot of his own in the top of the 5th.
In the bottom of the 5th, Joel Langford had a single, a stolen base and scored when Matt Alkerton hit a hard comebacker to the pitcher. Chad Hargrove then hit a double to score Alkerton and give Orleans a 4-1 lead.
Manotick threatened in the bottem of the 7th, with a Trevor Power home run to close the gap to 4-2.
