Week 1 in GOFL starts on Monday
The 2008 season of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League gets started on Monday May 5, with the expansion Greely DNTW Eagles hosting five time champions Ottawa Team Easton.
On Tuesday May 6, the Quyon Flyers host the Ottawa Blitz across the river in la belle province.
The Orleans Gators will travel to Stittsville to play Team Easton on Wednesday May 7.
Manotick will be the scene of a doubleheader Wednesday night, the first of many this season, as Stittsville stops in for two games - the first at 7pm against the Manotick Lomor Printers, followed by the 56ers facing the Ottawa Blitz in the second game.
On Thursday May 8, I4C Victory host their home opener against Manotick at the Carp Fairgrounds.
The final game of the week is the now traditional (3rd year in a row) West Carleton Electric taking the boat to visit the Quyon Flyers on Mother's Day Sunday May 11 at 2pm. Bring Mom and treat her to a Labatt Bleue after the game - make it a quart since it's her special day!
All games start at 8:30PM unless otherwise stated. See the complete league schedule at www.GOFL.ca.
