Fitzroy Fastball's Travel Tip

With the new border rules taking effect on July 1, 2009 passports are now going to be required to drive down to the States.

Many area teams are planning trips down this summer to Au Sable or Elkland or other destinations in the land of the "US Americans". Now is the time for team organizers to start harassing teammates to get their passport applications in to beat the rush.

Mrs. Fitzroy Fastball and I are taking the boys down to Darien Lake, NY this summer to ride the rollercoasters, so I went in earlier this week to the office on Sparks Street get passports for the lads (Fitzroy Fastball Junior and his younger brother the T-Ball Caveman).

I went in at 1pm, and was out of there by 1:15, I kid you not. Now is the time to go because I'm thinking all the last minute Christmas Eve type shoppers are going to show up in mid-June in a major panic and it'll be a big time wait.

For more on how to get a passport visit this site.

And that's today's Fitzroy Fastball Travel Tip.
