Greely gets their first point of the season

Greely DNTW Eagles and the Quyon COMBAT Flyers tied 4-4 at Andy Shields Park on Monday night. With the tie, Greely 'broke the goose egg' and scored their first point of the 2009 campaign.
Shannon Borho started for the Eagles, while Gord Flannery earned the tie in relief. Matt Greer pitched all seven for Quyon and also hit a solo home run.
The game ended in dramatic fashion. With two Eagles on and two out in the bottom of the seventh, with Quyon leading 4-2, Anil Hayne hit a clutch 2 RBI double to tie the game, but was thrown out trying to stretch it into a triple to end the match.
