OASA tourneys

Good luck to local teams in OASA tournaments this weekend.

The Ottawa Blitz will be participating in the Men's Intermediate B provincials up in Wiarton as per the previous post. As someone who played in a provincial tourney up there about 5 years ago, based on that experience I offer the following advice:
- Make sure you say hi to Wiarton Willie. Do NOT attempt to feed him though.
- There may be a fish dinner on the Sunday of the tourney. Try not to deface any signage they may have advertising the event. (You had to be there).
- If you go to the Pacific Hotel, stay away from the bikers. Especially if they ask you to dance.

A team from Micksburg will also be participating in the Peewee B provincials in Cobourg this weekend. Best of luck to the Twins at this event.

McNab Mavericks will be hosting the OASA Bantam Select tourney this weekend with teams coming from Scarborough, Orleans, Cornwall, Lyn, Georgian Bay, and Bramalea.

And finally, Smiths Falls participated this past weekend (Aug 7/9) in Sydenham in the Bantam A provincials. Unfortunately the Redmen went 0-2 BBQ. Napanee won this event.
