Loughborough Fastball League Playoff Tournament

The Loughborough Fastball League is going with a tournament this year instead of playoffs. Jeff Hannah provides this update.

The Loughborough Fastball League playoff tournament begins tonight at the Keeley Road Diamonds near Sydenham.

It is a modified double knockout tournament with the top 4 teams in the regular season getting 2 lives and the 5-8 place teams getting 1 life.

Games begin tonight (Friday Sep 11) at 7:00pm with the Napanee Jrs vs Sunbury in the 1-4 game, and the Kingston Cowboys vs North Fredricksburg in the 2-3 game. At 9:00 is Enterprise vs Battersea in the 5-8 game and Sydenham vs Sydenham Midgets in the 6-7 game.

Games continue starting at 9:00am Saturday with the Undefeated game scheduled for 11:00am and the final game set for 5:00pm Saturday.

Admission is free for the weekend, there will be a canteen open in support of Central Frontenac Minor Softball.
