Ottawa U Women's fastball games this weekend
from Scott Searle
With the wins last weekend against Windsor, the Ottawa U team racked up its 93rd win in program history. Watch this weekend as we look to become the first team in the league to reach 100 wins.
The Gee-Gees next game is scheduled for September 25, 2009 vs. crosstown rivals the Carleton Ravens at Centennial Park in Manotick. The double-header begins at 7:00. The team will don special red jerseys to show support for Canadian Troops fighting overseas for these 2 games.
The team continues its reputation for community involvement with a clinic for Minor Athletes from 9:30-11:30 Saturday morning at Alexander Grove Park in Stittsville.
Following the games, the team will take on the Laurier Golden-Hawk, host of the 2009 University National Championships in a double-header at 2:00 and 4:00.
On Sunday the team will take on the Waterloo Warriors at 12:00 and 2:00
