UOVMFL playoff update - finals set

The finals are now set in the Upper Ottawa Valley Men's Fastball League.
The Micksburg Sr Twins and the Shawville Snappers will faceoff in the final after each club won their respective semi-final matchups in the deciding third game of the best-of-three.
The Sr Twins defeated McNab Badham Carpentry by a score of 2-0 in game three. Corey Costello was credited with the win and also helped his cause with a solo homerun.
The other series saw Shawville come back from a 1 game deficit to win the best-of-three over the Micksburg Jr Twins. Drew Hathway had the win throwing a 3-hitter and went 2/3 with a two-run shot and solo homerun to provide the offense. The game finished with a score of 3-0.
