GOFL playoff picture gets a little bit clearer

With the result in Quyon last night, things are a little bit clearer on the playoff front.

- Kars needs to get one point in their next four games to finish first.
- Quyon will finish second unless Kars loses all four games next week.
- If Carp gets at least one point in their game against Kars, they finish third.
- Stittsville finishes third if Carp loses to Kars, otherwise they are fourth.
- Barrhaven has clinched fifth and will face either Stittsville or Carp in round one.
- Blitz finish sixth and will face either Stittsville or Carp in round one.
- Fitzroy will finish seventh unless North Gower sweeps their double header vs Kars.
- North Gower gets eighth and faces Kars unless they sweep their doubleheader.

Week 14 make up games are as follows.

Wednesday August 4, Kars will face North Gower in a doubleheader at 7pm and 9pm. These are home games for the Marlies (#33 and #57) but the games will be in Carp at the Fairgrounds.

Thursday August 5, Kars will face Barrhaven at 7pm (#40) and Carp at 9pm (#60) in two home games for the Aces. Again, this doubleheader will be at the Carp Fairgrounds.

The GOFL first round should start on Tuesday August 10. Full details to be posted on the blog.
