Kars takes first game of finals 2-1 over Quyon

The Kars Aces prevailed by a score of 2-1 in the first game of the GOFL Finals against the Quyon COMBAT Flyers at the North Gower diamond on Tuesday night.
Brad Porter had the win, throwing a 4-hitter, while Drew Hathway took the loss, also only allowing 4 hits.
Chad Milne and Kristian Knapp had solo homers for the Aces.
Game 2 is Wednesday night in Quyon at 7:30pm.
Note: City staff tell me that the Carp Road WILL be open tomorrow night so no need for a detour.
