Trend-Arlington League starts the 2011 season

After a long winter of anticipation, the Trend-Arlington Men's Fastball League began regular season action on Wednesday night.
The early game saw Durabuilt claim a narrow 6-5 victory over Goodfellows Cleaners. Bucky Richer was the starting pitcher, with relief from Gord Flannery. Gord had a great night at the plate as well, hitting a bomb on the first pitch he saw this season.
In the late game, PJ Quigley's opened the season with their sticks a-blazin' to claim a 12-5 victory over Ed Taylor's Shamrocks. Kevin Wilson picked up the win with relief from Steve Vukic. James O'Brien went yard for PJ's. Fern Lefebvre and Ivan Taylor shared pitching duties for the Shamrocks.
