Kars takes both games of doubleheader over Blitz

As per GOFL.ca, the Kars Aces won both games of their doubleheader over the Ottawa Blitz on Tuesday night in North Gower.
Kars 14 Blitz 6 (6 innings)
The first game saw the Aces win 14-6. Brad Porter had the win going four innings, with relief from Chris Hall. Shannon Borho took the loss and had relief from Derek Bergeron.
Matt Alkerton ended this one with a 3 run shot in the bottom of the 6th. Chad Milne, Danny Powers, and Kurtis Summers also homered in this game for Kars, while Borho had a homer for the Blitz.
Kars 8 Blitz 1 (5 innings)
Chris Hall got the win going all 5 innings for Kars while Jamie Blakely took the loss for the Blitz. Kurtis Summers homered for Kars again. Brad Pender was 5/5 on the night for Kars.
