Barrhaven takes two games to one series lead

Barrhaven Broadway Blues took a two games to one lead in their GOFL best-of-five playoff series against Stittsville 56ers with a 7-6 win in eight innings on Wednesday night in Manotick.

Jason Smith earned the win, throwing seven innings in relief of Chad Hargrove. Scott Herriot took the loss for the 56ers in relief of Trevor Scott.

Down by four, the Blues scored three in the sixth and one in the seventh to force the extra frame.
