Micksburg wins 1-0 over I4C; Costello throws no-hitter - UPDATED
The Micksburg Twins won their first home game of the year with a very tight 1-0 squeaker over I4C Victory in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play on Wednesday night.
Corey Costello tossed a no-hitter to earn the win. Andrew Putnam allowed only two hits in taking the loss.

Wednesday
night in Micksburg was a pitchers' duel as starters Corey Costello and Andrew Putnam came out throwing hard
and strikes.
Both teams were held off the score sheet until the bottom of the
fourth when Kerr Childerhose led off with a single. Corey Costello hit a
single to right advancing Childerhose to third. Next up Joran Graham hit a sac
fly to right field scoring the running from third.
This is all the offence both
teams were able to generate, as both pitchers continued control the game.

Costello was able finish off the game strong after getting the lead retiring
the next nine batters to get the win 1-0 . Costello earns player of the game,
pitching a no-hitter, fanning 14 and only allowing one walk.
