Harbour Ball officiating

Tonight in Harbour Ball.....

Big playoff game in Harbour Ball. The rarely seen three umpire system in place. Yours truly playing on the hot corner. Guy on second base. Wild pitch, dude on second takes off. Catcher has a good arm, rifles one to me, I put the tag on hard, it's a close play, could go either way. As I sweep the tag, I lift my head to see the ump's call and WHACK! I am punched in the nose.

By the ump, waving the safe call.

He was so close to the play, he actually smacked me in the nose with his hand as he made the call.

I am not sure, but I am thinking that is not in the umpire's mechanics manual. I know the EOUA officials read this page.....comments?

Sounds like the umpire was right on top of the play...literally. But a tad too close.
