Final Weekend Showdown schedule - UPDATED

The schedule for the Greater Ottawa Fastball League's Final Weekend Showdown event has been released. All games will take place at the Alexander Grove in Stittsville.

UPDATE: With the Micksburg - Kanata series getting rained out on Wednesday and the Twins tying the series on Thursday night, the decisive game five will be played Friday night as part of the event.

Things kick off on Friday night at 7 pm with a brief opening ceremony, follow by two games that night and games all day Saturday to determine the GOFL playoff champion and winner of the I4C Consulting Trophy.

The Stittsville 56ers will be hosting a BBQ and the Stittsville Legion will be operating a beer garden on site.

FWS Game 1: I4C Victory 5 Quyon Flyers 1 (already played Monday night)

Friday 7 pm: Micksburg Twins vs Kanata Pirates (Game 5 of playoff series)
FWS Game 2: Friday 9 pm : winner of Micksburg / Kanata vs. Kars Aces

Saturday:
FWS Game 3: 9 am - I4C Victory vs winner G2
FWS Game 4: 9 am (Diamond 2) - Quyon Flyers vs Loser G2 (loser eliminated)
FWS Game 5: 11 am - Winner G4 vs Loser G3 (loser eliminated)
FWS Game 6: 1 pm - Winner G5 vs Winner G3  FINAL
FWS Game 7: 3 pm - If first loss, second final game (if necessary)
