Trend-Arlington season wraps up playoffs

On Monday night, Whispers Pub won the Trend Arlington Men's Fastball League playoffs with an 8-6 victory over regular season champions That's How We Roll. Whispers Pub won the best-of-five series 3 games to 1 coming back from a 6-2 deficit in the rain delayed fourth game. Andrew Fleck got the win in relief for Whispers Pub and Elton Cryderman took the loss for THWR. Andrew Fleck also laid down a squeeze bunt to score catcher, Chris MacFarlane, for the insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning. For most of the Whispers Pub squad, this was the third year in a row they have won the playoffs and for most of the That's How We Roll squad this is the third year in a row they have won the regular season.
