Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoff survey

48 responses so far of Sept 22 - still time to give your opinion.

With the conclusion of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoffs at the Final Weekend Showdown this past weekend, blogging will be a bit more infrequent but will still continue. Please continue to send on results from area leagues that are still playing fastball. Also, be sure to check back for the GOFL all-stars which will be posted in the near future, as well as regular updates on the Caveman and Fitzroy Junior.

As the GOFL season ended on Sunday, there was some talk in the beer garden about the playoff format used by the league. Some love it, some are okay with it, others would like to see changes.

I personally can see both sides of the story. The I4C Victory vs Micksburg final would have been great as a series instead of just one game. Some locations would get a good crowd out for playoff games. Teams with only one pitcher wouldn't be at as big a disadvantage. But then again, who wants to be playing ball when it starts to get freezing cold? Would it be difficult to get the every series completed in a timely manner? And it can be entertaining to have a group of teams together for a final event.

Well, here is a chance for blog readers to have their say. See below for a poll to gather feedback. Please leave comments in the survey to help give context to your answers.
