AAU tournament update
Today at the AAU tournament in Orlando the Kanata Storm won both of their games.
Kanata beat Sopotociento from Venezuela by a score of 3-1. Mike Noftall started for Kanata and had relief from Corey Costello. Rony Jones threw for Sopoto.
Later in the afternoon, Kanata defeated Lake Simcoe Lightning 10-6. Cory Alkerton got the win in relief of Jason Smith. Chris van Volkenburg took the loss in relief of Kyle Linton. Jeremy O'Reilly had a home run and Ryan Kirk a bases loaded triple for the Storm.
Broker4Tickets lost 3-0 to Big John's Buffalo, and beat Bryan's Blackhawks 7-1.
The teams have been ranked for single elim play on Saturday and Sunday, with the Storm in the 10th seed and Broker the 12 seed.
