Twins defeat Flyers 3-0 in Quyon UPDATED - WITH STORY

The Micksburg Twins beat the Quyon Flyers 3-0 in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play in Quyon on Thursday night.

Corey Costello got the shutout win while Matt Greer took the loss with Trevor Lahey seeing time in relief.

Jamey Mick had a home run for the Twins.

The Micksburg Twins made the trip up the Pontiac to take on the Flyers on a chilly damp night on Thursday in Greater Ottawa Fastball League action. Corey Costello got the start for the Twins and Matt Greer countered for Quyon.

Micksburg got things going in the first with one out, as Jamey Mick continued his hot start as he took the first pitch he saw out of the park to left for a 1-0 lead.

The game stayed 1-0 until the third when Jordan Donahue drew a one out walk then advanced to third on a single by Matt McIntyre. Next up was Mick who drove a single up the middle scoring Donahue. Then with two out Joran Graham singled to score McIntyre, giving the Twins a 3-0 lead.

This score would be held up as Corey Costello earn the complete game shutout win striking out 15 batters. Trevor Lahey saw action in relief for the Flyers.
