Extreme kids' sports

We were getting ready the other day to go to Napanee for Caveman's (and Fitzroy Jr's) softball tournament. Admittedly, a 2.5 hour drive for a ten year old to play softball may seem a bit much to some, but you do what you gotta do to play competitive ball.

I was saying to Mrs Fastball: "Well, I know it's a bit of a drive, but it could be worse. A woman at work has a daughter in diving, and she is London today and was in Windsor a couple of weeks ago."

Caveman's eyes get big. "How old is she?"

I said: "I'm not sure, I think she is about 12 or 13. Why?"

Caveman says: "Wow, she's only 13 and she goes skydiving! Cool!"

Uh, Caveman, that's diving into a pool, not skydiving.
