Micksburg beats WC Electric 9-2
Micksburg Twins defeated West Carleton Electric 9-2 in Greater Ottawa Fastball League action up in the 'Burg on Tuesday night.
Joran Graham had the win while Steve Cavanagh took the loss.
West Carleton took a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the fifth - then the Twins scored eight to end the game on the run rule.
Mickburg got on the board in the third when Jamey Mick's double scored Andrew McIntyre who had reached on a fielder's choice and stole second.
West Carleton answered back with two in the fourth. Neil Murphy singled to start the inning. He took second on a wild pitch. Shawn Rebertz's flare to right was misplayed and the ball knocked out of bounds scoring Murph. Rebertz subsequently scored on Jeff Cavanagh's single.
The Twins ended the game on the run rule by putting up an eight spot in the fifth. Jamey Mick had another double and Quentin Rook had a three run homer in the inning.
