Kars advances to GOFL Final vs Micksburg
The Kars Aces advanced to the Greater Ottawa Fastball League Championship Final with a 9-4 win over the hometown Quyon Flyers on Sunday afternoon.
Brad Porter had the win on the slab while Trevor Lahey took the loss.
Balls were flying out of the Quyon Fairgrounds diamond all afternoon. Ian King had two home runs for Kars, as did Nick Armitage for Quyon. Nick Ellis and Matt Alkerton also had homers for the Aces.
Kars advances to play the Micksburg Twins on a date to be determined (hopefully soon).
