The Micksburg Twins won their first game of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League season on the road in convincing fashion with a 8-0 victory over the Quyon Flyers. Joran Graham had the win for the Twins and hit a home run. Scott Conroy also put one out for Micksburg. Matt Greer took the loss for Quyon.
West Carleton Electric 6 Ottawa Valley As 0
The West Carleton Electric defeated the Valley As 6-0 in Carp, with Andy Barber throwing a very efficient game, allowing only two hits and one walk over seven innings. Chris Costello had three RBIs, while Jeff Barber drove in two. Ben Broek took the loss with relief from Adam Rueckwald.
