Kemptville wins two in Carp

The Kemptville Black Sox, affiliating with the Greater Ottawa Fastball League this season, won both games in Carp on Thursday night.

In the opener, they defeated the Micksburg Twins 8-4. Will Lowe had the win, while Brenden Hennessy took the loss.

The late game saw the Sox beat the Ottawa Valley As in a tight 6-5 match. Shannon Borho was the victorious chucker while Adam Rueckwald threw for Valley.

The Black Sox so far have two wins, a loss and two ties.
