Valley As take game 1

The Ottawa Valley As won the first game of their best-of-three series against I4C Victory in Manotick on Wednesday night.

The final score was 3-0, with Ben Broek earning the shutout win for the As and only allowing one hit and striking out 15. Matt McNish took the loss for I4C - he also had a good game, giving up only three hits.

Valley got RBIs from Broek, Sean Lecuyer and Kyle Couvieau.

The next game in the series is Thursday September 6 at 8 pm in Carp.
